Actually, I don't think much of what I tried to help with did any good, but with Ray's advice, it appears the problem got resolved well.
We've (forums, not me or Ray personally) had a number of times over the years had threads run into the hundreds of posts in order to finally get a problem solved. We (forum members) are a real tenacious bunch when it comes to digging for the right tip/trick/advice in order to help somebody out. It's one of the main reasons why we have such loyal members who keep not only coming back when they need help, but members who will hang tuff until the problem finds a solution. Trusting a complete stranger to help solve a problem is the key...you just KNOW nobody here will deliberately screw you up more just to be mean. (And when those posts DO show up every so often, they are deleted immediately) Kind of like the doctor's credo of 'do no harm'....
Hi Ray & Toni. Ref the assistance give to Dragonbssj.
Don't know if this is ethicial but just had to say that your efforts to help this member was just anazing. Far beyond anything I would ever expect from people who give so freely of their time, effort, help
advice and knowledge, not to mention your infinate patience. I learned quite a bit from it as well, primarily, when you submit a problem to the forum follow the steps that they advise and do nothing else until you have submitted the findings to them.
From all of us "wannabe experts" out here a very very big thank you. Maggs
