It was a reply to some musical thread in which I tried to link 2 contrasting youtube links. For whatever reason, it didn't show. I tried to recreate it later and the same thing. That one wouldn't go though I could preview it and test the links. Other replies I made went just fine so maybe some forum censor blocked it. It wasn't a masterpiece post so I gave up on it.
Sorry. Youtube is temporarily a banned term. So posts with a youtube link are deleted.

Did you know we have a Test forum: http://forums.cnet.com/test-forum/
That's meant for such tests!

But JP said the problem was with speakeasy. >http://forums.cnet.com/7723-7598_102-637769/posts-not-appearing-immediately-after-being-submitted/?tag=contentBody;threadListing

I've never seen JP posting anywhere else than in SE. And I've never seen an issue with the forums limited to only one.
I'll remove this thread tomorrow, if none of the other moderators did it.

I tried to respond to a post by Toni H In this thread....minutes ago and earlier today...Both times when I submit my posts I see a "Thank you, JP Bill, your post has been submitted and will appear on our site shortly." notification... and my post may or may NOT appear.....Definitely NOT immediately...once ONE post appeared after one hour or so, the others are out in cyber-space.
In this thread I am receiving the usually notifications and my posts have been appearing immediately.
but since you're too lazy to reset the time on your clock twice a year (that would require you to push 2 buttons). I thought you were going to retire in Greece...I think you're already "retired"...
Get your wife to reset your clock if it's too difficult for you, she's not the one doing your dirty thumb work for you is she?
There's something about a "no cookie" option. I don't know much about it but I've been asked to check some website links with such youtube videos and they won't work on any of my Windows or Linux systems.
for a week because of a flood of spammers using youtube links to spread their spam content, but as of now, I have reinstated the use of those links. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.
Sorry about the disruption of having youtube links being blocked.
