Just a little information in a favour of Zone Labs.

Dec 12, 2005 2:58AM PST

I installed NAV 2005, Adaware 6, Spybot SD 1.3, Spywareblaster 3.2 on my friend laptop (windows xp home, most critical update)

That was about a year ago, when he was going abroad.

While abroad, his other friend, uninstall NAV 2005 and installing ZoneAlarm Suite.

A year later (Last week), he was back and almost instantly I take his laptop to check for any pest and/or virus, before connecting to my network.

Surely enough that he never update his Adaware, Spybot SD and Spywareblaster. So i uninstalled and reinstall the newer version, update, then doing the scan.

Surprisingly I only find 3 adware (which can be removed by spybot SD and no virus)... eventhough he is a heavy email and browsing person.

Not promoting anything, but it seems that zonealarm suite doing the job quite well.

Any opinion or comment on this?

I'm planning to install zonealarm suite on my other friend pc and laptop, considering the result on the above mention laptop, one full year without any problem and relatively clean.

Thank you
