Question

JS8500 TV: Add shortcut for USB folder? Always show time?

Aug 22, 2016 3:47PM PDT

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew how to add a tile to a USB folder. I have a USB hard drive with pictures and other media but have to click on my router, then the share, then "Browse Folders", then the media folder I want. Is there any way to go directly to the folders?

Also, how can I always show the time when watching a movie or anything? Seems trivial but I couldn't figure it out.

Additionally, YouTube/Netflix sometimes stays stuck at "Loading" while other times if I'm streaming a movie, I get "Check Network Connection" and then it exits the movie -- this happens about twenty times which makes it unbearable as the time returns to a much earlier moment in the movie (I'm talking about 10-70 minutes depending on the movie).

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried resetting the television?

I've reset the TV twice and thinking it's a router issue have also set my router to reboot automatically twice a week. I've tried both 2.4GHz and 5GHz connections but they exhibit the same issues. Thank you for your response!
