Virus Characteristics

This detection covers Java scripts that attempt to exploit one of the vulnerabilities covered by the Microsoft Security Bulletin MS03-004 cumulative update. This exploit can be used to determine if a file exists on the local system.
The severity of this vulnerability is considered to be critical. It allows an attacker to view files on a victim machine, simply by visiting an infectious website. Detections of this exploit do not necessarily mean that any malicious code was executed. It simply means that a Java script was found to contain the exploit code. Conversely malicious code may have been run, which could result in the victim machine having been compromised.

All vulnerable systems should apply the patch from Microsoft. Patched systems are immune from the effects of the exploit code. However, detection will still occur on files attempting to make use of this exploit.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
