JPEG Images and DVDs - Help!!

Sep 29, 2005 10:36PM PDT

I have some CDs which contain pictures I took on my digital camera. The CDs were burned at the local photo shop. I assume they are JPEG format. They will not play on my DVD player, however, they will play on my PC. Can I save the picture onto my PC and then burn a new CD or DVD so it will then play on my DVD player?

Or...buy a new $69 DVD player. Most of the new DVD players, even the cheapest, seem to play CD/DVDs with JPEG images. Your PC will play them because the pictures are stored as data on the CD and most DVD playes are looking for a movie in MPEG2 format.
