Jonathan's DRM Solution Exists

by cmatthieu / October 5, 2006 10:49 AM PDT

You read an email from Jonathan on 10/4's podcast about embedding a VIN-like solution into a digital asset that would allow it to be tracked back to the licensee. I have great news - this solution exists! offers a simple DRM solution where as Numly Numbers can be issued for each copy of a digital asset. The Numly Numbers can be marked as public or private and embedded into or along with any digital asset. The licensee's meta data is stored at Numly and if flagged as public can be verified online. Private Numly Numbers just confirm the validity of the electronic serial number (ESN).

Check it out!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
