John McCain blasts memo controversy, Trump for 'doing Putin's job'

Sen. John McCain blasted President Donald Trump on Friday for approving the release of the highly controversial GOP-Nunes memo, saying "if we continue to undermine our own rule of law, we are doing Putin's job for him."

McCain, who chairs the Senate Armed Forces Committee, called on Trump and other elected officials to stop looking at special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation through "the warped lens of politics."

As long as McCain

In reply to: John McCain...A great man....

talked a good speech about sticking up for the military and the vets, he got away for years with the voters to mask the fact that he did NOTHING for either, and NOTHING for Arizona regarding the illegal immigration issues. He was a phony his entire career in the Senate and didn't deserve to get the nomination for president.

Can you say the same about the child prez?

in your opinion; however, he DOES actively and publicly love our military in every sense of the word.

BO actually DIDN'T serve and deliberately sent out 'pick slips' to our military on the literal battlefield in Iraq and Afghanistan and gutted them every chance he got.

"at least he served" for McCain isn't good enough.........I am complaining about someone who is actually IN Congress right now AND a Republican.......how does that meet your 'grudge list from the past' meet your requirements regarding my complaint this time?

You have NO material to debate ANYTHING with, so who's the real 'child' here when all you have is to complain about ME making comparisons between YOUR grudge list and MINE? Please get some new material at least.

To buy votes.

I see you did not answer my question.

I don't have a grudge list I comment about what's happening today.

In one of your post you carped about Hoover.

How far back does your grudge list go?

Try to focus on the present and leave that past stuff alone.

not only refuses to LEARN from the PAST, but IGNORES it completely...which means you have a very bleak future since you are ONLY interested in the present. Poor you......you have nothing to look forward to because you can't see any further than today. I have plenty of factual history to complain about in order to educate the millennia who haven't been TAUGHT that history which is why they are so gullible to what liberals spew......Fortunately the adage of 'you are liberals/Dems in your teens and early twenties' and when reality hits you in the REAL world, you become Conservative Republicans by mid twenty/early thirties' is actually truer than Dems like to believe....that's why they recruit so many young illegals and fight to get them citizenship (DACA)...they need the votes they aren't getting from the 'older than 25' folks anymore who wised up to the crap. If you are beholden to the party that lets you break our laws and stay, you vote for them......why do you think Dems embraced BLM so quickly? Because they knew they were losing the black voters due to never doing anything for them except spouting garbage help right before elections again.

Are YOU saying TheRUMP and Obama are 2 peas from the same pod? (more of the same? just what YOU wanted?)

I don't think they are "alike".

You got a problem with him being "paid"? Is he being "paid" with YOUR money? Is he paying tax on these earnings?

You should be grateful...it helps reduce the deficit AND makes TheRUMP look better.

The poor guy has to make a buck....and it's one way to fill in his spare time...maybe he'll spend some time in SE....that'll keep him occupied for a few years...Perhaps him and TheRUMP will be golfing buddies someday....I can't picture TheRUMP and Obama kite surfing

RE:hiding from your part time employees

Where did you get the idea I had any "employees"?

RE: his releasing his taxes since he wouldn't have had to claim any part of it until the following year anyhow.

BUT he still would have paid taxes on the winnings, Correct? Does it make a difference WHEN he paid them?

IF he was Canadian...he wouldn't have to pay ANY taxes on 'winnings".

Canadians are in luck when it comes to lottery winnings! Winnings from a Canadian lottery such Lotto Max or 649 are considered to be windfalls. Even winnings from a sweepstakes or lottery sponsored by a charitable organization are generally tax-free.

Everything from your local hockey team’s 50/50 draw to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters travel lotto vouchers is included in the windfall category and therefore exempt from tax.

In reply to: RE:How stupidly you 'act' shouldn't keep surprising me......

spellcheck didn't catch it because it was spelled incorrectly actually.

BO's 'winnings' weren't from a lottery....it was a GIFT/AWARD. And I don't think he ever released his taxes AFTER he was president....so we don't know if he actually HAD to pay taxes on it. The only taxes I recall being showed was that he made huge bucks on his book that was released just before the election....doesn't make him a 'poor guy' like you claim having to make a buck.

I'm interested in which word you claim was spelled incorrectly.

I don't see any misspelled words in YOUR post.

Is this the "spelling misstate" you claim?

RE:You must have been hiding from your part time employees

Spell check DOES NOT CORRECT MISSTATEMENTS, it corrects SPELLING errors...

If you meant employers instead of employees(as your spellcheck excuse)....you will be devastated to know that it has been over 10 years since I've had any reason to work...let alone "part time"...

JOB?.....I don't need no stinkin' job....

does NOT make a bipartisan bill, JP.....especially if part of is to 'STUDY' the border wall.....as if it hasn't already been studied to death. That's the kind of crap BO pulled with Keystone... HIS EPA dept and STATE dept approved it and HE said it wasn't studied enough.

two people out of a hundred does NOT make a bipartisan bill, JP

The fact that they are from 2 different parties makes it "bipartisan" AND they presented a "bill"

bi·par·ti·san

of or involving the agreement or cooperation of two political parties that usually oppose each other's policies.

It meets all the requirements to be called a "bipartisan bill"

So endeth the lesson....
