Although replacing the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) by a better and still more affordable one turns out to be somewhat difficult (it didn't pass the Senate today), there's no doubt that Trumps promise he would be the greatest job-maker ever is a big success. After only half a year there are so many jobs available that he has to import 15.000 extra foreign workers to fulfill them!
Isn't it great?

Trump inherited a growing economy.
What it says is that so far Trump and the repubs have not done anything to screw it up.

ACA....as fractured as the repubs are I have my doubts they will be able to pass any bill.

I would not be surprised to see the country go to default on the debt as the repubs squabble.

It's the strangest thing, Kees.

The behaviors belong to the American species of politician, but somewhat exaggerated; not new except for the intensity*. What I find puzzling is that Trump is very loud about even the flimsiest claims. Does he really really believe them?
OTOH I read, in the usual 'debunking' comments [also by Reuters I think] a couple of faulty ones: about things he didn't say, or putting their own spin on. Cuts out their own 'high moral ground', and puts 'unfairness' on both ends of the table.

*Firmly locked into the 99% as I am, I remember very well the fallout from the 2008 fiasco. No substantive acknowledgement of fault by the 1%; no change anyone could believe in; thousands of lives ruined; no perps in jail. [That just confirmed the other day.] Yet we heard the other party claiming the usual Messiah-ship.
Bad government.
