It could be a timing problem. After all, you're at home and at work at different times. Maybe the server really isn't available when you try it.
I can't try it here and now, because I don't have a logon code there.
But it could also be their server is blocked somehow by your home computer(s). Could be the hosts file, a popup blocker or any other Internet security software you're running.
One would have to study the javascript source to see where the message comes from (either your own browser or a server on their side) and if it contains any server name you can investigate further.
Did you already try their customer support? They might be able to help.
And you can try another browser (Firefox in stead of IE); I don't expect much success of such a move, but it won't harm to try.
Good luck,
Kees
I played a poker tournament at www.freshcope.com last year without problem. This year I am unable to log into the "play" area using my computer at home a Toshiba satellite 2405-s201 with Windows XP. After logging in to the site I click on the "Play Now" button (I notice in the lower left address bar: javascript: launchPoker();void(0)
This is not in the upper internet address bar. The window acts as though it will open then I get a message that the server is not available, every time. I do not have this problem with my computer at work. A Dell with Windows 2000.
I thought since I had played successfully last year on both computers that possibly there was something that had changed in the XP computer - so I changed computers at home-a brand new one, an HP with Windows XP operating system - same problem exactly. Any ideas on what I can do?
