java with realj

Sep 30, 2005 7:13AM PDT

i'm taking an AP course in high school for java programming. we dont have the software on the computers at school, so we had to install it at home and try and write a simple piece of code for a simple output statement. i have downloaded realj, and SDK. i wrote the code, compiled it, and there are no errors. the only problem is in the beginning when you are prompted to save the file before you have started. i saved the main java file as (class name).java I saved the working directory as (class name).jvr and i set the directory to where i am saving the actual source code. the error i recieve when i attempt to run the program is "Failed to start process". what have i done wrong, or forgotten to do? thanks in advance to anyone who replies.
