Java Uninstall Error 1606

by lee61447 / August 26, 2011 1:29 AM PDT

When uninstalling Java 6, Update 26, I get the error " cannot access Useadata%appdata%/Roaming. That's not a typo, it really says useadata. I've tried the usual fixes from other forums but no luck. Any sugggestions?

Thanks for showing interest, but I finally figured it out. There was a corrupt registry entry (I didn't think that USEAPROFILE looked right) and when I edited it to USERPROFILE everything fell into place. Thanks again.

That's an odd entry.

Was the owner using registry cleaners?
