Question

Java Script doc. will not load on screen

Jul 27, 2012 2:24AM PDT

When I click on a link to open an official document from the Court, I switch to a new tab with the name of the document, but the document will not load. Is this a javascript problem, or am I missing something?

Clarification Request
This looks to be a web browser issue.

Be sure to try another browser and look to see if javascript is enabled in your (unnamed) browser.

I checked the plug-in

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. The documents wouldn't open in any of them. I had researched the error message on the Internet and found out that there was a problem with some of the plugins and a malware called Flashback. With Firefox help, I went into Tools and Add-Ons and kept going back and forth and tried to disable some of the plugins, then enable them again, and kept trying them until I happened to click on the Adobe NPAPI (2?) and block it. It worked! Now I am able to open the documents. I hope this searching might help anyone else who might be having a similar problem.

Another suggesion for Safari
Jul 27, 2012 8:45AM PDT

My solution above worked for Firefox, but in Safari, I went into Preferences, Security, and disabled Java. Then I was able to open the documents in Safari, also.

Answer
I think your problem is related to Adobe Reader

Quit from Safari and Go to the Library folder and find the Internet Plug-Ins Folder.

This is the Library folder at the root of the hard drive and NOT the Library that you will find in your Home folder.
You can get to it by holding down the Option Key and clicking on the GO menu in the menubar.

Open the Internet Plug-ins folder and drag everything that relates to Adobe, onto the desktop.

Close up the folder, come out of the the Library and launch Safari and go to the Court Site.

See if that makes any difference.
