I just recently started to learn Java and well... If anything I'd think it should work on Windows 7 (unless they blocked it so people use VB instead.. doubts.)

Windows 7 is based on Windows NT (same as XP and Vista?).

If it works on Vista and XP, I wouldn't doubt if it works on 7 as well.

I've tried some of my java codes on Windows 7 and they work perfectly. Swing based UI codes take on the Windows 7 look and feel. I've installed JRE 6 update 11

We have Java errors using XP. Our software vendor tells us the application won't work with certain versions of Java. So the issue may not be Windows 7.
