java/byteverify virus?

Jul 28, 2004 8:17AM PDT

i have had viruses in my computer for awhile now and i get rid of them every day, but they seem to be recreating themselves, some of these include trojan krepper i, java/byteverify, and w32.spybot.worm. I use avg6 and have adaware also, but neither of these seem to be able to find these viruses. today I have been trying to get into my yahoo and my msn mail, but both have failed due to a website which keeps popping up and says i have spyware in my computer. the website that keeps coming up is http://296f8.ilxt.info/index.php?aid=20009, and also a website that says super spider. i have no idea what to do about this, so somebody please help me!!! thank you

This is the primary reason we wiped MSJAVA and SUN Java off the office PCs. Without a JVM, it can't get on the machine.

If you must have Java, get a browser like Firefox and only allow it on the few sites you need it.

Also try getting a firewall if u dont have one. Then use that to block all java apps except the ones u need to use.

Feel free to ASK ANYTHING.
