NEVER SEEN A COMPLAINT ABOUT JAMO'S.
Looking for some help. I have a new house. The house is wired for sound. 4 connector to the Amp and 2 sets of 2 connector to the speakers with a Volume Control in between. I have 5 rooms wired. 1 set of speakers in each room with 1 Jamo AT101 Volume control in each room. I had the house wired but I installed the volume controls, speakers and receiver/amp myself. It seems that the Volume controls are causing the amp to overwork itself and heatup/cut off. When I wire the speakers directly I do not have a problem but when I put in the volume control I see to have a huge load that causes the amp to overwork/overheat, etc. I believe I understand the Jamo instructions correctly and believe I have the jumper settings correct but the Volume controls are causing a problem. Any Ideas?
