Toni, or anyone else heard from J Vega since his last post? I'm wondering if he passed on like many others we've known in the forums over the past 20 years. I was going to send him an email, but his profile's not set to allow that.

and I even imported every old OE addressbook I have stored on my external drive to my new Windows Contacts page to see if I have an email addy for him, and none can be found. Strange, too, because I have so many from years ago, like Bill Gaston still in there.

When was his last post? I don't recall how long it's been since I've seen anything now that you brought it up. I hope he's ok........

and I don't know if he dropped SE, since he was here after his last posts there or if something happened. He had been caregiver for someone who died near end of 2012, but he was not in greatest health either. I think he was wheelchair bound. One of the things about life on the internet is people disappear and nobody knows if they passed on, or just left, unless they are in contact with other members on private emails.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
