iweb's mobileme account

Hi there, can anyone help with this, iweb09 3.0.1, i've change my personal domain in mobileme 2 weeks ago but my mobileme account in iweb is still my old domain and i can not view my site from iweb i have checked in my mobileme account and it is my new one, everytime i start iweb up it shows my old damain i can't seem to be able to change it? any idea's..... terry
what i've tried so far,
i backed up my domain sites2 file, opened with show contents removed .plist files 5 of them, restarted iweb by double clicking domain site2 file,
still the same my old domain shows up

Try changing the details in the System Preferences,

Hi P,
I've gone to system preferences clicked on the mobileme icon, account, account details this has taken me online to mobileme i have signed in all the details there are up to date with my new domain name already in place, gone back to iweb still my old domain comes up in the mobileme account box..

I don't see anywhere in iWeb where you can specify what domain name to use.

Hopefully there will be someone along with a clue on iWeb

Try the following:


1 - close iWeb.
2 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
3 - go to your User/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder and delete the contents.
4 - launch iWeb and see if there's any improvement.

Old_Toad you are a genius, that worked, I was having the same prob as the other guys above, couldn't get iWeb to wake up and smell my new domain that I setup correctly in MobileMe, but couldn't find anyplace in iWeb to get it to forget the old domain. YOU ROCK WITH THAT SOLUTION, IT WORKED!
