iTunes won't rip

Apr 17, 2010 12:53AM PDT

1) I had some problems after changing my acct. name, then changing it back again. I thought it was all sorted out, but then started getting an error message when I try to rip CDs in iTunes: You don't have write access for your iTunes Media folder or a folder within it. To change ...

I tried Get Info & have RW permission, so I don't know what to do about that.

2) Other than ripping CDs, iTunes seemed to be working fine however after a week of the above problem, it has developed something new that may be related. I can no longer use Get Info within iTunes to correct or add to entries about the albums like composer, tracks, disk, etc Perhaps that is another RW permission issue.
