Question

itunes won't access store

Mar 18, 2012 5:21AM PDT

I've deleted and re- downloaded itunes repeatedly, disabled the firewall, etc but whenever I click on itunes icon the screen appears with message "accessing itunes store" and that's it. It never connects so I've never even set up an account. Been on apple support but to no avail. Using Windows 7. any suggestions appreciated

Answer
FIX FOR "CANNOT CONNECT TO i-TUNES STORE"
Jun 6, 2012 3:05PM PDT

THIS FIX WORKED FOR ME AND OTHERS
On your PC close all programmes that are running
search CMD
right mouse click on this find
click on RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
type in these words netsh winsock reset
press ENTER
a message will come up saying that this change will only happen when computer is re-started
RESTART your PC
start i-tunes and access the store

Hope this helps
Wink
