iTunes will not play iTunes Store file

Apr 26, 2007 8:21AM PDT

I bought a song from the iTS a few minutes ago and it refuses to play in iTunes. My computer is authorized to play music from the account I used to buy the music and all that.

The song ("Crazy Train," by Ozzy Osbourne, by the way) appears in the Library, but when double-clicked to play, nothing happens. It's like iTunes ignores the command. Also, when my iPod syncs, I receive a dialogue box stating that the song was not synced because the song cannot be played on my iPod.

The song plays just fine in QuickTime, however.

The only thing I can think that triggered a bug was I looked at the song on my Purchased playlist and clicked on the five-star rating and the song had not yet finished downloading.

Running OS X 10.4.9, 1.42GHz G4 Processor, 512MB RAM, iTunes 7.1.1, 30GB iPod (White), QuickTime Player 7.1.5
