iTunes Runtime error - HELP!!

by tylersmiller / June 23, 2007 5:15 AM PDT

When I open iTunes I get this error message:
The title of the message is: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

The message says:
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe

This app has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the apps support team for more info.

What does this mean? It will not allow me to open itunes, and when I click OK, it closes iTunes. Anyone have advice on this?

Thanks in advance!

I have found for me that the i-tunes application to not be user friendly at all ,I have worked with many software apps and have had a very high success rate at figuring out how to use them .However with that said I-Tunes has me stumped .I have a I-Pod Nano and the I-Pod shuffle, yet they sit barely being used becasue, except for some success with transfering songs fom a CD to the I-Pods ,absoluley total frustraton with buying and downloading singles onto them ? The employees at the Apple store are completely unhelpful once I tell them I have a Windows based and a Intel based PC. Apprently they turn their nose up at those who do not use a Apple PC ! Wish I could be of help !
Good Luck Nik
