ITunes not working!!!

Ok, I just bought my Ipod Video and Installed Itunes, but wasnt working... i dloaded the newest version of it from Apple and the latest software 4 my Ipod, but it still says that the software for connecting with my Ipod is broken, and needs to be reinstalled... ive tried reinstalling but to no avail! pls help me!

"it doesn't work" is not enough of a clue. You may want to heed the words in red and supply what's in the EVENT VIEWER when it fails.

Also, what have you done so far? No reason to duplicate what you've done.
