I know a lot of folk that don't want to change it back and want Apple to do it for them. As to flat, that's the new thing in GUI land.

I have always loved iTunes. Some things that need work is always going to come up, but why fix something that is not broken? It's always been my opinion that if you take something away, it's going to more people than if you add something or bring other things up to its level. Everyone has different tastes but I see a lot of complaints about the changes and wish it would make a difference. I am guessing someone became in charge and decided to change a lot of things his way. Many people thought they had a bad update when downloaded iTunes with a red logo. I can get over that, but who came a long and decided to take away the 3d look of the player and make it so flat and boring. Maybe it helps lag or performance but internet speeds are going up. I never noticed any issue. But someone is taking away the beautiful apple/ futuristic and clean look of iTunes. I can talk all day about more important changes that have screwed it up but they have already been covered. Its very annoying when things are moved around. You do an update and the sidebar is gone and you have to go find out why and where to set it up again. I like the old way genius worked too and I used to buy a lot more music because of the albums it would find that were near the style I like. I can't even really understand how it works anymore. Why not let people actually make their own radio stations from iTunes music that will play in the iTunes radio section? Do you have any idea the boost it would give to music sales and people using iTunes? I want to point out something else important too. Does iTunes realize that having a genre as vast as electronic makes it difficult to find the type of electronic music a person wants? I've work in the music industry and produce music and could go on about my qualifications but it doesn't take a talented or person in the business to see iTunes is losing its appeal. There are so many categories under the electronic genre, can you please break it down and get up to date with modern times? There is a huge difference between each sub genre's of the electronic genre. Yes this is a rant, but I am not angry and trying to be respectful. And by the way, change that ugly red logo back to blue, good god. Just that would make people dance again.
