iTunes Feezes when I update iPod

Jan 14, 2007 10:09PM PST

I'm running the lastest version of iTunes and everything works fine untill I insert my iPod to update it. iTunes will feeze, the music doesn't stop, but it doesn't update and I can't change tracks or do anything. There is no affects on anyother programs it doen't even slow down my Macbook it seems it only affects iTunes. I've tried other USB ports and the same thing keeps happening. (Running lastest version on OS X 10.4.8}

and try again.
This sometimes works. Be sure that all the tracks on your iPod are still in iTunes before you do this.

iTunes will generate a new set and the default for the iPod is to sync automatically

iPod Shuffle updates

My iPod shuffle updates just fine, but my iPod doesn't. This signals to me at least that its a problem with the iPod itself?
