Itunes cannot re-install apps for iphone

<span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> <span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> Iphone crashed , so re-installed and every thing is back to normal except downloaded apps, they show in itunes with a tab next to each labeled ''will install'' syncing does not reload them , cannot do anything with them [greyed out]<span id="INSERTION_MARKER"> .

At itunes store only option is to update [some apps] they all show as downloaded only other option is Delete.

Did a second backup of iphone

Now the apps no longer show 'will install' but just the word install, again greyed out.

there is a huge difference.

At the App Store you will find a purchased option which will show all the apps you have purchased and allow you to download them again.

I'm not there to try this and yes, I encounter folk all the time that want a fix. Software, apps still have bugs. Maybe there's another way but what mrmacfixit posted looks to be in line with prior advice.

Since it didn't work, time to get to the service counter.
