Itunes 9.2 won't work

Hi,

I downloaded the new software for Itunes on my computer, I have a Windows XP operated computer. When I tried to start it up, it wouldn't start. So i removed the software and tried again. No success. Finally i tried to download an older version but it wouldn't recognize my library so I had to go back to downloading the 9.2. When that was installing it couldn't complete itself due to the fact that i didn't seem to have authorization to change the Bonjour services. I tried to stop the services, update them and remove. No success. I have now had no access to my itunes for the better part of 3 months. Can anyone help me?
