General discussion

ITunes

Nov 6, 2005 3:26AM PST

I downloaded Limewire and everything seemed to be working fine. Then I updated my Itunes to the latest version, and since then, my Itunes hasn't worked. Every time I try to open it, I get a message that says iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Any piracy involved?

Today's vendors are getting a bit testy about piracy. There's more going on with them getting agressive about this.

Or your limewire let someone diddle with your machine.

Sorry to read another person learn that P2P is not safe. Try this. Format the drive, reinstall everything except P2P and see if that clears it up.

I'm not kidding.

to see if you are running the latest version of QuickTime which is NOT the one that comes with the iTunes download. 7.0.3 or better is good

You did not mention what version of iTunes or QuickTime that you are currrently trying to use.
Have you tried to redownload and install iTunes?
