It's about a problem I have with my 2008 Chevy. Avalanache c

Hello: My 2008 Chevy Avalanche chimes are staying on all the time and it's very annoying. Can anybody tell me how to disconnect the chimes without causing another problem?

Chevy Avalanche problems.

Hi: My 2008 Chevy Avalanche chimes are staying on all the time and it's very annoying. Can anyone guide me how to disconnect the chimes without causing other problems in the electrical system?

It tells you where it is, use a tube to locate if difficult. Unplug it. See if all works well after that. I had one in a Chrysler years ago and that's all it required. I never put it back, left in glove box till next owner.
