I read something interesting about it the other day. Seems it's possible to have fixed wing dirigibles that would stay stable in it's upper atmosphere in a habitable zone which could be used for living in and doing science from. The atmospheric pressure would be same as ours at sea level and still up above the clouds. Hotels in the sky. Flush toilet and garbage over the side, into the clouds, down to the baking hot surface.

It's a shame you have to go off-world to compare but overall, Mars is constantly cold plus how are you going to get there?

Anyways, this is the time of the yr. people figure if they do what they're suppose to in winter regions, are prepared. Here, in Ohio is stayed warmer by at least 2-3 days as the west got blasted and then we got it. I still think we have it by a notch better than all those others regions either snow, rain or icy conditions exist there far worse than here. It's not that's it cold now but its better than having a constant wind chill factor below 0deg. Also, my car has to start with an older battery too, that's a real test for me as it uncovered(non-garaged/barn). I hope you have clean warm socks, that too is a major concern of mine during the winter. Excuse me, I have throw another log in the fireplace. Best dang thing I have right now. adios -----Willy Happy
