I managed to talk my way into a job (IT helpdesk) that i have no experience or relevant qualifications for.
What knowledge do i really need for a tech help desk role? any recommended resources i can use?
I am completing a few short online courses now before training starts in 2-3 weeks but I seek help from people in the know.
I have plenty of basic office/call centre experience and dont doubt my analytical abilities only i need to make it past the first few weeks without letting on i am a total amateur.
Tips/advice gratefully accepted.
