Issues with WMV Player Plugin

Running Mac mini G4 1.42GHz Processor, 80GB HD, 512MB RAM, 10.4.4

I was overjoyed when Microsoft axed Windows Media Player in favor of Flip4Mac's WMV Player.

However, I'm having issues with the plugin. Everytime I use an application with the plugin (Quicktime, Safari, Mail), it crashes. Example, I click on a .wmv file online and it goes to the white page to play the video. When I go to close the window, Safari crashes and asks if I wish to report the crash. As with Mail, if I am sent a .wmv file.

Got a remedy?

You have the wrong version

In reply to: Issues with WMV Player Plugin

Run the uninstall program that came with the version you have and then go back to the Flip4Mac site and download the later version.
Should be ok then
