Question

Issues with contacts after updating to Android lollipop

Aug 18, 2015 6:54PM PDT

It seems that since I have upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S4 to Android I've had nothing but problems. One problem is that my contacts list seems to be messed up. Some, but not all of them are doubled. Also while they are in alphabetical order they don't fall into the proper group. What I mean is that a name beginning with the letter "A" is under the names beginning with "B". I don't know if the fact that some of my contacts are doubled has something to do with it or not. Has anyone come across this issue and how do I fix it?

My fix was before the upgrade and it may upset you.

I figured it out!

There was a setting on the contacts that says "Only contacts with phones". It only displays contacts with phone #s. Once I selected that option, it cleaned up my contact list.
