You streaming this to the CD burner?

If so, use an audio program like Audacity and let that create the file first, and then burn the file to CD-R

- What OS?
- What is the file type (extension) of such a file?
- What program do you use to burn such a file?
- What options in the program (burn a data file, burn an image, make an audio CD, ...)?
- How do you play that CD once burned (in a CD-player, on your PC with VLC-player, ...)?

And above all:
- What's the relation between the subject of this forum (TV's and home theaters) and the subject of your question?

Going to need details.

1. What error message?
2. What burning app?
3. What is going to play these CDs?
4. Is it an AudioCD?

If you are making AudioCDs there are deep problems with many car and other CD players. It's all been tossed about before so once you sort out the error message issue, be sure to record at 2X speed to give the players a decent chance at playing. Also, use silver AudioCDs.
