I have a Samsung Vibrant phone from T-Mobile that is not recognized by my computer. I have a Toshiba Laptop running Windows 7 Premium 64 bit. I've searched all the formus xda developers etc. and have downloaded multiple sets of drivers (uninstall prior to each installation) and nothing seems to work. I've tried all of the alternative fixes as well and nothings worked for me.
I've also tried connecting it to my Mac running OS 10.6.5 and 10.6.6 with the new update and it also does not recognize my phone.
I've also tried all the different suggested phone settings and none of those have worked either.
The last thing I have tried was a different data/sync cable and that hasn't worked either.
Please help if anyone finds anything out let me/us know as there are many more with this issue.
I have a Samsung Vibrant phone from T-mobile that is no longer being recognized by my computer. I have a Lenovo u450p laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Even when it used to be recognized by my computer, it was intermittently working. Now my phone is not recognized at all when I connect it via USB.
The drivers on Samsung's website do not work after installation, so I wonder if there might be issues relating to my computer's past driver files and installations.
If anyone has had similar issues, please let me know what you have done to correct them. I have tried searching google for this problem and most of the alternative fixes haven't worked for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
