Issue with loading Blu-ray movies with new Samsung BDP3600

by bejolly65 / May 4, 2009 12:40 AM PDT

I have no experience with blu ray so I do not know if this is a common issue or not, but when a movie is loading on my Samsung blu ray player or from Netflix, there are flashes of snow that appear on the screen for a long time. After a few minutes the movie might start playing but a few minutes have already passed. Also, when the flashes of snow appear, I can hear a snippet of sound from the movie. Do I need a new HDMI cord? I bought one for about $20 at Target. We called Samsung and they suggested switching the HDMI cord around. At first, i thought it was working, but it still down the same thing. Can anyone suggest anything?

if the thing don't work, return it to the store for another one. Bru-ray should work just like a dvd player (simple).

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
