Issue with address book for Yahoo email

I am not sure if this is a Windows 7 issue/question or not, but here is the situation:

I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. I use Yahoo for my email. Recently, whenever I compose a new email and start typing in a letter into the To: or CC: line, it pops up my contact list, which it should. However, now whenever I select on a contact, it freezes after selecting the first one and I can't close my pop up contact list.

I don't have this Yahoo email issue using any other computer. I have called AT&T a couple times and after spending hours of them trying to trouble-shoot, it was still unresolved.
