Of course your best chance is to connect it to the same or equivalent controller on which the array was created. RAID...especially IDE types...don't like to cooperate when separated and moved. If the MB the drive was once attached to is still functional, you might have a slim chance but taking chances is what happens when going with RAID. The professional services option depends on how important the data is to you but it may well come to that.
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help me out. I have a hard disk that is part of RAID-1. I would like to be able to get the data out of it. I have tried to mount it to another PC but was unable to see it.
Is it a possible thing to do? I could get the expert to do it but it'd cost me a lot of money.
my PC runs on XP Pro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
