Question

Issue transferring from laptop to memory card

Mar 31, 2012 3:28AM PDT

I transferred photos from laptop to memory card. I can view the photos on the memory card while in the laptop, but not when memory card is in the camera, Canon SD1300. What am I doing wrong?

You are wanting to use your camera as a multimedia player.
It will not let you do that.

The Camera can only see photos that the camera has put on the memory card.

You need a multimedia player such as the video iPod. to do what you want to do.

Now that you have written to that card with the computer, you should not use that card in your camera until you have formatted the card with the camera.
Failure to do that can result in a card that the Camera will refuse to use sometime in the future.
It may not do it right away, but it will happen.
