Do You Mean IP Address? Or...
by Grif Thomas Forum moderator / May 3, 2007 10:13 AM PDT
In reply to: ISP adress you mean your email address?

To change your IP address, IF you're using dialup, simply exit the internet and reconnect. A new IP address will be given to you. If you use a broadband connection, it depends on the type you're using and whether you're part of a network or not.. Frequently, turning off the modem, wait 10 minutes, then turn it back on again will give you a new address UNLESS you're being given a static IP by the service. In that case, it's best to contact the Internet Service Provider and get a new one.

If you mean your email address, contact your ISP and change your account.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
