Question

ISO on android

Mar 22, 2015 9:57AM PDT

Is it possible to boot an android from an ISO? I don't mean using my phone to boot a computer, but actually booting my phone.

I'm going with no.

However I did get an ISO from Android x86 to make bootable DVD and USB memory sticks. But that was not what you asked to do. Very few machines can boot from an ISO.

Again, I can create bootable media from said ISO but that's not booting from the .ISO is it?

Something I've yet to see.

All the roms to date require installing. No way to date to boot off the .ISO. My bet is they are mixing up what you could do on a PC.

I don't know if he's trying to root his phone.
