ISO file questions

What programs would you recommend for making an iso disk. I have an iso file and I know it is a good file, I can use ISO magic and it will show all the files on the image and I have daemon and it will emulate the image just fine but whenever I try to burn it as an ISO onto a disk, It won't work properly. All that happenes is that I get a disk with a single iso file on it. I am using nero to do this, any other programs that I can use that are free, or maybe there is something I am doing wrong that you could point out. Any question on what I'm doing or the setup I'm running, feel free to ask. I'm no expert when it comes to computers.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't used nero or sonic in some time; but...
i remember that the option to burn as an image or iso was in the menu..
K3b and other open source applications make this easier
you will neeed an emulation layer.

I could not find the ISO MAGIC program. I found an MAGICISO but that's not what was in your post.

For me, I can create a CD/DVD from my ISO image with the free CDBURNERXP but decline to write how to use it here.

Supply a link to your ISO MAGIC program's maker so I can try it.

I only have a trial version so I don't think all of the functions are operational.

Heres what I'm assuming can be done. Maybe I have the wrong idea about how this works and thats why its not working. You take a CD and make an ISO file out of it, which is essentially a snapshot of the disks contents. Then when you want to make another disk out of the ISO file, you just burn the ISO image onto a new disk and you have a complete working copy of the original disk. Is my logic flawed in this? ... Essestially what I'm trying to do is take this ISO file and make a disk out of it that will operate like the original disk from which the ISO was made.

"you just burn the ISO image onto a new disk"

English is terrible at this. Depending on how I read this it sounds as if you are putting the .ISO file on a CD. The words I'd like to read is that you create the CD from the ISO image. The menu picks are ever so different.

For example MAGICISO shows how to create the disk proper at but I can't find an example for ISOMAGIC.

Let me be frank. ISOMAGIC needs to get their game on and update their web site to include such a web page.

comes with a manual or help file.

Do yourself a favor and uninstall it and download MagicISO.

Double-click on the .iso icon. If it work like mine does, Nero should open and you just do a burn.

.... It's free:

It extracts the file from the ISO file and burns the separate files to a disc as you would expect.

Hope this helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
