It's a reality you have to cope with. Praying won't help. Sending armed forces to every islamic country on the globe doesn't seem a very good idea either, given recent history.

....their immigration problem. Ever hear "Just Say No!"?????
Christianity doesn't have much of a past to be proud of including the Crusades.
BTW is there a place for the cliff notes?
He covered the Crusades. Pitiful little compared to what Islam did, and directed only at securing "The Holy Land" so all pilgrims could safely visit Jerusalem.
and the analysis produces many perspectives. I'd think it's true that many folks who do research will focus on what they already believe to be true and will seek evidence to support it. Thus, when widely conflicting views happen, the truth tends to be somewhere in the middle. Man has struggled to survive as long as he's been on earth. His worst enemy has always been those of his own species. Survival is a complicated process that involves competition with other people and other forces that aren't always cooperative. One of man's solutions to this is to band together for the purpose of strength. Such is why families became tribes and tribes became nations with all expected to be loyal and of common purpose.
So now we introduce religious beliefs and the already complicated becomes even more so. What doesn't get mentioned is that both Muslim and religious leaders had their own ways of imposing a common religion on their subjects. Religion became both and alibi and an excuse for rulers to do evil. But, for some reason, it was the religious authorities that took most of the blame when the history writers took over. On the christian side, there's no greater evidence than what's become the grossly misreported stories of the crusades and the inquisitions, how they came to be, and for what they were purposed. It makes for bad chemistry when religious and secular leaders get too entangled with one another.
The extremes hate each other and neither has much tolerance for those that won't fully slide to their corner.
I know you`re not a socialist.....save yourself......
...the "dogs" who surrounded Jesus on the cross said exactly the same thing. You have company.
Psalm 22
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
Matt 27
In the same way the chief priests also, along with the scribes and elders, were mocking Him and saying, "He saved others; He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel; let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe in Him. "HE TRUSTS IN GOD; LET GOD RESCUE Him now, IF HE DELIGHTS IN HIM; for He said, 'I am the Son of God.'"…
Luke 23
And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself. And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss
Mark 15
22 - And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull. And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not. And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. And it was the third hour, and they crucified him. And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, Save thyself, and come down from the cross. Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.
