Is wireless slower than normal connection?

Feb 26, 2005 2:02AM PST

Hi,

I am moving into a house with a DSL line. I can either buy a wireless network card for my desktop, or one where I'd need to plug it in via regular cables.

Is either method faster than the other? I saw two belkin network cards on Znet, and the wirles was 5mbs, the one where you conenct cables was like 450mbs, or something like that.

thanks,
-Alex
