Is this the place to ask for help with Total Recorder?

by rdmoores / February 1, 2009 8:44 PM PST

I recently bought Total Recorder Pro, but am totally frustrated by it.

I want to do only one thing with it: record streaming music and split the resulting sound file into separate tracks, based on either silence between the tracks or by my manually pausing to create the track separation points I want. I can't get either method to work, and TR's tech support has been of no help so far.

If anyone here can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The SE version doesn't do that.

"Its controls can be daunting,"
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / February 2, 2009 10:29 PM PST

"Its controls can be daunting," from a few reviews. This software works for most people but when it doesn't what you really need is someone there that has used it for some time. They may hear what's up and know why the breaks don't work. I only used it a few times and it won't matter to you that it worked fine.

However I am encountering more people that demand software just work. Or work without daunting or hard to understand controls.

Sorry but it should work, does work for others. I can't guess why you have an issue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
