Question

Is this system decent?

Sep 3, 2018 2:05PM PDT

Hello guys! Just wondering what you guys think of a system i'm looking at getting. First of all i wanna stress the fact, i have no intentions or desire to overclock now, or in the future. I plan on running everything at stock speeds because i don't play many demanding games. The games i mostly play are World of Warcraft, Warframe, CS:GO and Overwatch. My question: Is this system decent? The specs are below;

Motherboard: Prime A320M-K
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (stock speeds)
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 3GB (stock speeds)
RAM: 2x4 GB 2133MHz memory (dual channel)

I've read that memory speeds can impact Ryzen CPUs but only with high-end cards. With low-mid ranged cards it seems to be a pretty small difference upgrading from 2133Mhz 3000Mhz. Is this system decent for what i intend to play?

Can't answer. Here's why.

Folk may make demands it run on Ultra with some addons so I can't guess your game configuration. I think the 1060 is the right spot for high settings and 1080p 60Hz play but what if you loaded up addons and picked up the 144Hz monitor? It may falter.

Also, you may skip the SSD and stick old slow HDDs.

Go with 2666.
That's as high up as the mobo will go without OCing.
