Is this possible to do?

Hi,Im new to camcorder tec. I just bought the JVC gz-mg37u.Im wondering if it's possible to hook the cam up to my tv so I could lets say, put on a boxing match or what not and record it to my camcorder hard drive then download that to my computer and burn the fight to a dvd?

If your camera allows for video-in... and

your TV has a video-out, then technically, it would be possible. But most TVs don't have a video-out connection. Your VCR does, though... Lots of cameras don't allow video-in - Check your camera manual.
