Is this Possible? CD Drive Name change in Mavericks.

Is it possible to change the cd drive names in the menu bar eject dropdown?? I have multiple cd drives, and would like to change the names to BluRay & Lightscribe.. Instead of what appears to be the model names of the drives..

in the side bar, or the desktop, until a disc is inserted.
At that point they appear in both places as the name of the disc that was inserted.

Until there is a disc inserted, I do not see anywhere that shows an Eject icon that is not greyed out, but with a disc inserted, the eject buttons are "live" and when clicked show the name of the mounted disc and not the name of the optical drive.

Could you clarify where you are seeing these names please
