Question

Is this PC bad?

On Walmart this PC has no reviews, but in Best Buy it has 4.4 out of 5 (384 reviews). But what I worried about most is the A12 9800, because I seen reviews talking about how it is infecting the am4 platform. But is it really that bad? I mean I don’t care for ultra high speed, I just want to know if this can be used for everyday use,p for multiple hours, school work, news, YouTube, browsing, social media, light gaming and some gaming Fallout 4, without making this computer SLOW, In short, is this computer gonna be slow as people say it is? P.S can you tell me what to play on setting on Fallout 4 720, to get avg 31fps

Answer
It's not designed for gaming

I'll guess... at 720p and low settings you should be able to get 30 fps.

The single channel ram setup will throttle the igp.

Up the textures?

Is it possible for me to up the textures? Maybe download remove insignificant object remover? Like up the textures to medium or maybe high?
In this video he has dual channel 8gb ram, but would the results be similar? https://youtu.be/T7VrKrbNXD8

You won't know that until you test.

But I'm reading complaints with low framerates from 1 to 30ish. Gamers are going to be upset.
