Not bad choices. The GT525M would play more games than a 3000 so if games on in the plan, you want the 525m.
Hope this helps,
So I'm going to have to buy a laptop with a budget of 500EUR. I hope someone with more knowledge about computers can help me out here. I've found this 15,6'' lenovo with the following:
Processor: i3 2310M @ 2100Mhz;
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GT525M;
Chipset: Intel HM65 Express
HDD: 500GB @ 5400RMP
Now my main concern is the chipset, since i couldn't find a good site to compare at. Is this ok, and does chipset even matter that much?
Another thing is the graphics card, i understand the ''GT525M'' and the ''Intel HD 3000''(which is common at this price range) work somewhat differently so i don't know what to think about the comparison results. Which one is better?
Thirdly, the DDR3 memory - it has only 2GB, but from what i read, it shouldn't be too difficult nor expensive to add some more ( Max, is marked as 8GB). Is there anything i'm missing?
And lastly, one other possible pick (a dell) has it's HDD RPM at 7200 - is that much better than 5400?
I'd also be open to any suggestions, but since i live in europe, i'd rather not order from the US (takes too long).
If anyone is interested in providing further insight i'd be happy to provide additional details on the computer(s).
I'll also add the links to the 2 i'm currently choosing between, even though the sites are not in english, the specifications should be somewhat understandable.
Any opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
